THE KATHWOOL WAY

For the things
we choose to make
and keep.

A crochet project, yarn and hook beside a window
a quiet moment to make

There’s a particular pleasure in watching a picture appear as you crochet. A few rows become a branch, a window, a familiar little face. That sense of discovery is what we want our patterns to offer.

Look through Kathwool and you’ll find cottages tucked beneath acorns, cats curled up with books, moonlit creatures and Christmas villages. These are designs for people who enjoy a little detail — and the satisfaction of making it themselves.

We also know that choosing a project is a commitment of time and yarn. A lovely picture is only the beginning. The technique, the instructions and the kind of making you enjoy all matter when deciding what to start next.

Choose the scene that draws you in.
Then give it your colours, your time and your touch.

THE DETAILS THAT DRAW US IN

Familiar things.
A little imagination.

Woodland walks. A favourite reading chair. The first lights of the festive season. Ordinary moments can be the beginning of something you’ll love to make.

WOODLAND & STORYBOOK

Little details.
A whole world to imagine.

A curling leaf, an acorn’s shape, a doorway tucked beneath a roof. These are the small discoveries that make our woodland patterns feel like places to explore.

A NOTE FROM KATHWOOL

Hello,
fellow maker.

a project on their mind.

Kath Wren— with a little love from Kathwool

Maybe there’s a mug of tea beside you and a project waiting on the sofa. Maybe you’re still deciding what to make. Wherever you are in the process, we’re glad you’ve found Kathwool.

We hope this feels like a place where you can browse without rushing. Think about the colours you’d use and where the finished piece might live: folded over an armchair, brought out each Christmas, or wrapped up for someone who will understand the time you put into it.

You don’t need to finish quickly or choose the most complicated project. Find a design that feels right for you. And if you’re unsure about a pattern or need help finding a download, get in touch with the pattern name and your question.

Thank you for making with us.Signed Kath WrenContact Kathwool

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

A few useful
things to know.

A little clarity now makes it easier
to choose your next project.

Stuck on a little detail?Let’s untangle it together. ↗
Am I buying a pattern or a finished piece?

The PDF patterns featured here are digital downloads. You’ll crochet the finished piece yourself; yarn, hooks and a finished blanket are not included. Always check the individual listing before you order.

Will every design use the same technique?

No. The collection includes Mosaic, Tapestry, C2C and Filet Crochet. A design may be offered in one technique or more than one version. Check its description and select the method you want before buying.

How do I know what is included?

Read the product page for the files, instructions and versions supplied with that design. Contents vary between patterns, so don’t assume that the files in one listing apply to every project.

Can I use different colours or yarn?

Use the pattern’s yarn and colour guidance as your starting point. A different yarn weight, hook size or tension can change the size of the finished piece. For picture designs, consider whether your colours have enough contrast to keep the details visible.

Where can I ask a question?

Use ourcontact pageand include the pattern name. If your question concerns a purchase or download, add your order number so it’s easier to find the right order.
