Delivery & Shipping Policy

Kathwool sells digital crochet PDF patterns. Some physical products may remain available during our transition. The delivery method on each product page and at checkout determines which section below applies. This policy applies to orders placed on or after the date above; earlier orders retain the delivery terms provided at purchase.

Digital PDF delivery

Products labeled “Digital Download” or “PDF Pattern” are electronic files, not finished crochet items, yarn, materials, or kits. Digital-only orders have no physical shipping, shipping charge, parcel tracking number, or customs delivery.

After a successful purchase, download access is supplied electronically through our digital delivery service. Follow the download instructions presented after checkout or sent to the email address used for the order. The product page describes the files and formats included in that particular pattern; contents vary by product. You may need a PDF reader and sufficient storage on your device. Any printing costs are yours.

Check your spam or promotions folder if you do not see the download message. If the link is missing, expired, inaccessible, or the file will not open, contact support@kathwool.com with your order number and the email used at checkout. We will investigate and help restore access or supply a corrected file when appropriate.

Digital-only purchases are not subject to the physical processing or transit estimates below. No shipping address is used to deliver a PDF, although billing or tax information may still be requested at checkout. Applicable taxes on digital goods, if any, are shown at checkout.

Physical products, where offered

If a listing expressly identifies a physical item, we currently ship eligible orders to the United States and Canada from China. The available destinations and the shipping charge shown at checkout govern your order. For reference, our current standard published rates are $8 USD for U.S. orders below $60 USD, free standard shipping for U.S. orders of $60 USD or more after discounts and before taxes, and $12 USD standard shipping to Canada. If the checkout displays a different applicable rate, review it before paying and contact us if it appears incorrect.

In-stock physical items are usually processed within 2–4 business days. Handmade, made-to-order, personalized, and pre-order items may take longer as stated on their product pages. Estimated transit after dispatch is approximately 15–30 business days for the United States and Canada. These are estimates, not guarantees; holidays, customs, carriers, weather, and remote delivery areas may cause delays.

We send a dispatch confirmation and tracking link when available. A multi-item order may arrive in more than one parcel without an additional split-shipment charge. Import duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, or local taxes not collected at checkout may be charged by the destination authority and are the recipient’s responsibility where law permits.

Please check your delivery address before ordering. If you need a change, contact us immediately; changes are not guaranteed once processing or dispatch begins. If a package is delayed, missing, damaged, or marked delivered but not found, email support@kathwool.com with your order number and any tracking details. For damage or an incorrect item, include photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label when available. We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy under our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
