Description

Snow Leopard Moon - Crochet Blanket Pattern

A snow leopard rests beneath a crescent moon, framed by roses and leafy stems. Mountain peaks and the leopard's curling, spotted tail complete this two-color woodland scene.

APPROXIMATE YARN REQUIREMENTS
Yarn requirements depend on your swatch, yarn label, working method, tension and border. The included guide calculates each color from a weighed 20 x 20 panel. It includes the side stitches, an adjustable A-color border allowance, CUT row tails when applicable, and 10% extra yarn.

Illustrative calculation: if the selected technique's 20 x 20 panel uses 5 g of A and 6 g of B, with 300 m / 100 g yarn, 100 g skeins, 15 cm row tails and a 12% A-color envelope-border allowance:
- Mosaic CUT: A approximately 1,462 g (15 x 100 g skeins); B approximately 1,396 g (14 x 100 g skeins).
- Mosaic NO-CUT: A approximately 1,443 g (15 x 100 g skeins); B approximately 1,377 g (14 x 100 g skeins).
- Tapestry CUT: A approximately 1,480 g (15 x 100 g skeins); B approximately 1,407 g (15 x 100 g skeins).
- Tapestry NO-CUT: A approximately 1,442 g (15 x 100 g skeins); B approximately 1,369 g (14 x 100 g skeins).
These are swatch-based calculation examples, not fixed quantities for a yarn-weight category. Replace the sample values with your own measurements. Always round up each color separately.

FINISHED SIZE
Width including side stitches = 244 x (your 20-stitch swatch width / 20). Height = the selected chart's row count x (your 20-row swatch height / 20). The finishing border adds to both dimensions.
For a 20 x 20 panel measuring 10 x 10 cm, the Mosaic body including side stitches is approximately 122.0 x 170.5 cm (48.0 x 67.1 in), before the outer border.
For a 20 x 20 panel measuring 10 x 10 cm, the Tapestry body including side stitches is approximately 122.0 x 170.0 cm (48.0 x 66.9 in), before the outer border.
