HOW TO USE THE FILES
The enlarged chart uses colored squares without individual letter labels. The row cards and compact instructions use the nine letter codes listed above; the boxed instructions spell out the color names.
The Orange Poppy sequence starts at the bottom-left corner and finishes at the top-right. Follow its project-specific sections: increase on rows 1–240, rectangular middle on rows 241–340, and decrease on rows 341–579.
Use the illustrated guide to review the general technique. For this rectangular design, follow the Orange Poppy row instructions through the middle section before beginning the final decrease section.
EXPERIENCE AND MATERIALS
The included guide provides basic technique explanations, while the project itself is best suited to crocheters comfortable with C2C blocks, rectangular shaping and multiple color changes. Detailed areas include short color runs, so allow time for managing yarn and weaving in ends. If C2C is new to you, practice on a small sample first.
