Color names and swatches are visual references, not yarn brands or manufacturer shade numbers. The color keys in the written PDFs include total block counts for each shade; these are not yarn quantities.
You may choose your own yarn palette. Keep a visible difference between Yellow and Ochre to preserve the petal details, and between Sage and Deep Green to define the leaves and stems. Actual colors may vary with your yarn, screen and printer settings.
FOLLOWING THE DESIGN
The chart uses colored grid squares. A–G codes appear in the color keys, row cards and compact written instructions. If you prefer following letters or color names, use one of the written formats alongside the chart.
Written color runs specify how many consecutive blocks to work in each shade. Row totals, RS/WS labels and direction notes help you track your progress. Pattern notes also identify the increase, rectangular middle and decrease sections.
SKILLS AND MATERIAL PLANNING
Best suited to crocheters who already know C2C increases, decreases and color changes. These PDFs provide charts and written color sequences; a beginner stitch tutorial is not included.
Yarn brand, yarn weight, hook size, fixed finished measurements and yarn quantities are not specified. Swatch with your chosen materials to establish your block gauge and plan your finished size and yarn requirements.
READING AND PRINTING
The chart pack uses A3 pages. The three written formats use US Letter pages. Use a color display or color printing when following the chart. Scaling A3 pages to smaller paper will reduce the size of the squares and labels.
